This site has been used as a test site for different configurations for the past several months. The French version is more detailed, the English one is mainly written to help in keeping track of the links. Please note that I am not a native speaker of English, I make mistakes and any help in correcting them is appreciated.

I have been recently consulting on online communities for a health group, a tv station, a social networking site and an entertainment company.

I have also worked on Web projects for ad agencies, telcos and universities.

As a journalist (in French, in Montreal), my expertise is the business side of communications: mass media, advertising and marketing. When it came to the Web around 1995, the first revelation was that every site publisher was no further than an email away and their work could be experienced directly.

As I was exploring everything that moved and participated in several communities, Avi Muchnick invited me in 2002 to register at his brand new website and to look at its workings from the inside: Worth1000.com. He was right: before, I was mainly observing the Web, since then, I am a part of it. I have had a daily experience of Worth1000 community's growth from 3000 members to more than 400 000 as a member, a juror and, since 2005, I have the privilege to be part of the admins team.

I also visit daily Metafilter, where I am a member since 2005. I especially recommend MetaTalk, the part of MetaFilter where all matters regarding the moderation of the community are openly discussed.
